My brother, Alan, his wife Ellen, Cindy and I enjoyed a wonderful Alaskan cruise during the week before Memorial Day. We began in Vancouver and our first stop was Juneau, where we went whale watching and visited the Mendenhall Glacier. Our next port was Skagway, where we rode the White Pass narrow gauge railway into British Columbia (and close to the Yukon Territory). My favorite day was cruising in the Endicott Arm and seeing the spectacular Dawes glacier. Our last port was Ketchikan, where we toured the city and the harbor in an amphibious duck. Our cruise ended in Seattle.
